After nearly 40 years...we've still got it!
In 1970, Flip Wilson was making the US laugh, Patton was the top movie and the Beatles were still together. Now forty years later, America’s TVs are glued to Lost, we’re dazzled by Avatar at the movies and puzzled by Lady Gaga. However, Hinda Incentives has remained a constant in the last forty years, weathering events such as economic downturns, recessions and Milli Vanilli.
Things have come a long way since Hinda had its first set of offices on Printer’s Row. In the 1970s, Hinda purchased 120 Casio calculators to qualify as a distributor, convincing an auto parts company to use them as an incentive for selling parts. Now Hinda boasts an inventory of over 3,500 products in our current 75,000 square foot facility. We’ve gone from Therese Brisard manually writing down invoices onto index cards to pioneering online incentive programs.
Since introducing the online programs, Hinda has brought employee recognition to a new level with the Hinda Warehouse Dash. Companies are able to bring their top performers to our warehouse to participate in a “supermarket sweep” style event. Participants are given one minute to race through the aisles of our Warehouse and grab what they can. It’s a great and fun way to give employees the recognition they deserve.
We're celebrating our 40th anniversary this year (if you hadn't already picked up on that) and we'll break the social media rule of talking about ourselves a time or two throughout the next month. Needless to say, we're pretty excited about it all.
