Hinda Tests New Event Ticketing Offering
In May, Hinda launched a new concept in event ticketing. Partnering with a leading online ticket exchange, Hinda has harnessed the power of the secondary ticketing market to offer program participants more venues, a broader selection and more value than other event ticket approaches.
This innovative technological approach allows program participants to redeem points to access an extensive ticketing marketplace. And with over 100,000 concerts, sports and theater events worldwide – everything from regional niche events to sold-out shows – there’s something for everyone. The new offerings give participants access to a $5.5 billion real-time ticket inventory.
“We wanted to test this before doing a national rollout to gauge participant reactions and ensure everything was operating seamlessly,” says Darin Cwik, Hinda’s Director of Product Development. “So we worked with one of our consumer loyalty marketing clients for the initial test rollout. They have a large participant base varied in demographics and interests. This allowed us to not only see how a huge audience would respond to the offering, but also gave us the stress test we needed to make sure everything worked as it should for an even larger rollout later.”
And the results?
Cwik reports, “Acceptance has been nothing short of remarkable. Daily redemptions of event tickets have steadily increased since launch with virtually no customer service issues. We’re very excited about the future of this new approach to event ticketing.”
Hinda’s ticketing marketplace is fully-responsive with interactive venue maps that provide section highlighting, approximate seat views and even event notes providing participants confidence while making their redemption decision. Venue maps allow for quick access to available tickets and pricing which makes the decision process fast and easy. Participants have the option (depending on venue and timing of event) of ticket delivery including: E-Ticket, Will Call, or Hard Tickets – options are listed prior to check-out on the event detail information. And point redemptions will automatically sync into their order history for future reference.
All event ticket inventory is listed real-time via API, application programming interface connections, to ensure tickets viewed are available to your participant. With our “push” capabilities, participants can choose to receive recommendations of popular events, recently added and upcoming events at their location so they never miss an opportunity to enjoy a great experience!
We also recognize that data security is always top-of-mind. So, both clients and participants can rest assured knowing that our ticketing platform is both Payment Card Industry (PCI) and EVSSL-certified, ranking it among the top secure sites for event tickets in the market.
Plans are in the works to deploy this offering to additional loyalty participants and programs in the upcoming months with the inclusion of incentives and employee engagement programs set for early 2020.
